By default, Email Ferret only labels emails—it does not delete them. You can configure whether flagged emails are archived or kept in your inbox. All actions are reversible, and you maintain full control over your emails.

If a legitimate email is flagged, you can easily add the sender to your allowlist from the message details page or directly from any message. This prevents future false positives from that sender. Email Ferret learns from your corrections and continuously improves its accuracy.

Email Ferret analyzes email content in real-time and immediately discards it. We only store encrypted email subject lines and IDs to enable the user interface. Trust signals (allowlist, previous contact, same domain) reduce the score. The default threshold is 3, but you can customize it per Gmail account.

Email Ferret uses AI to automatically categorize legitimate emails (those that pass the spam check) into custom folders like Important, Calendar, Updates, Recruiting, Billing, and more. You can enable or disable folders based on your needs. Messages are automatically archived after categorization (except the Important folder, which stays in your inbox).

Yes! You can enable or disable any of the standard folders (Important, Calendar, Updates, Recruiting, Billing, Finance, Socials, Notetakers, News, Shopping) from the Settings page. When you enable or disable folders, Email Ferret automatically manages the Gmail labels with sequential numbering to keep them organized.

Yes! Email Ferret supports multiple Gmail accounts. Each account has its own settings, allowlist, blocklist, folder configuration, and message history. Each Gmail account is billed separately at $5 per mailbox per month. You can switch between accounts easily from the dashboard.
